TD Canada Trust Young Jazz Showcase

The TD Canada Trust Young Jazz Showcase has been a highlight of the Festival since 2002, bringing five or six of the finest high school jazz musicians to Port Hope each September for intensive workshops, culminating in two sets on the main stage at the Festival. Audiences are amazed each year at the individual talents, and the group cohesiveness, of these musicians. The Young Jazz Showcase proves that the future of jazz in Canada is bright indeed!

For our 10th Festival, we present a very special Young Jazz Showcase, featuring eight of the finest performers who have participated in the Showcase over the past nine years. These performers now bring a wealth of professional experience, along with training in the finest post-secondary music programs on the continent. We'll bring you more details over the summer as these plans are finalized.
